I'm still fighting with unemployment regarding my qualifications. For those who are unaware, unemployment decided that I owed them $15,000 because I was collecting when I didn't qualify for unemployment. Nevermind the fact that I specifically talked to unemployment and the people at the problem resolution office to make sure that I was doing EXACTLY what I was supposed to do. (not that I'm bitter)
So the latest news is that I owe $4,000 and not $15,000 which is wonderful, but still not fun, so I am going to go get representation and take it to court. Time consuming and stupid, but I'm told... that since burden of proof is with Kmart, I should be ok.
The bad part of all this, is simply that unemployment was my lifeline while I was finishing school. I only have 4 more months until my RN (time flies) and I need to figure out a way to make ends meet until that time. I'm working my buns off during all my breaks, and I'll just have to scam off my parents for a while. Which is pathetic when a 35yr old woman with a child scams off her parents but oh well one must do, what one must do.
In light of the recent financial developments, and the upcoming holiday season, I've decided to get a little creative in my gift giving. For example... I've come up with several nice little gifts that I'll be giving away this season they include: A dust bunny shaped like Jesus, A half used bottle of body spray that smells more like Alcohol than the actual fragrance, and some Rubber gloves that came home in my pocket from work. I know you're all excited and can't wait to see what you're getting so just be patient and I promise you'll have a lil dust bunny to call your own very soon!!!
