I got my taxes back today. I'm excited about the refund that should carry me through at least 4 months worth of rent!!!! (Provided I don't get a stable income before then) However, the rude awakening came when I looked at the difference between this years income vs. last years income. The difference was about $40,000. **Ugggh** Three thoughts came to mind when I saw that...
#1. Wow.... double incomes rock!
#2. How is it that we were never able to save any of that money?
#3. THAT'S why I had to cut cable!!!! Okaaaay.... I get it!!!! lol.
**sigh**
I miss my washer, dryer and brand new fridge. Ok... I'm over it. (sorry, temporary walk down memory lane)
Anyway it's a good day because the refund will be here by the end of next week... just in time to pay rent! WOOHOO.
