The Boy-- "Mom... this is a picture of a robot. I made it. Do you like it?"
Me-- "Wow!!! Yeah I do. It's quite detailed. What kind of robot is it?"
Him-- "A good robot."
Me-- "Cool. What's all those lines for?"
Him-- "That's for when he sees a girl, he sucks up their clothes and the clothes travel up this line through here over here and out there."
Me-- **Thinking about where I can find a good psychologist** "Ummm.... why would he want to take the girls clothes, then what would they be wearing?"
Him-- "Oh... they still have their pants, he's just sucking up the shirts, then the girls would scream and run away."
Me-- "Ummmm.... I'm not so sure that's appropriate for the robot to do. What do you think?"
Him-- "It's just pretend mom. It's not real."
Me-- "Okaaaay."
I'm not sure if I should be proud that my boy dreamt up a way to get a girl out of her shirt at the age of 5, or if I should consult a specialist. Seriously, only my child... only my child.
Hey... at least he knew it was pretend. (I think he got it off some stupid tv show. DAMN that SpongeBob!) lol
