So I'm getting ready to leave on a walk and I get a frantic phone call from the BFF. She says I have to go meet one of our friends... so I take off to meet her and low and behold I find out the reason is because they want me to meet a guy. So I walk into this room full of people and the guy isn't there, but they call him and tell him to get there, then she leaves me in this room with the guys family. All 10 of them. We chat, I'm embarrassed, but I manage to make conversation with everyone and then 10 more people file in. At this point one woman tells me that she's the one they call "The witch" and she says it's nice to meet me and whatever. Two minutes later she asks if she can talk to me in the other room, where she then proceeds to pull me, and the guy into the other room. She then announces that this is a set up and that she wanted to do this a year ago but it didn't work out, and so now we're here so talk amongst yourselves... and proceeds to leave us.
He chuckles, I'm dying, and he's like well... my mom is kinda famous for this so how about if I just get your number and call you, we can do dinner when it's not so awkward. I said that would be fine. We chat for a minute and then we're done. So we say it was nice to meet you and we leave. I then proceed to beat up my friends.
Sheeeesh.... with friends like that..... :)
