Count Me In

Sorta... I filled out, and turned in my application for nursing school, part time, next semester. So now... I wait to see if I am accepted. Here's the funny part, after I turned it in, my mom was at some function for the MTech Provost that is moving to Kentucky, anyway the head of the nursing program and the soon to be x provost were talking to my mom, and the head said... "We did it Provost... we hooked her and reeled her in. You should meet her. Her personality is perfect for nursing." --that was in regards to me.

Apparently they think that my cynica,l quick witted, unsympathetic, self will make a good nurse. Turns out... all those times I told the boy... "Suck it up, it' s just blood," was good training. LOL.

OK maybe not, but now I wait... and see... if I'm accepted. I'm not sure when I'll know, but we'll see.

We have a lot of respect for nurses after seeing them work in the ICU when John's dad was on life support. My sister and 3 of my neices are nurses so you will be in good company.

You will make a great nurse! I for one cannot do it...too much human bodily functions on overload.

Have fun!

Nursing saved my life after my divorce. It gave me lots of independence and opened up opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise. It's a great field to get into. Good luck getting into the program. Even if it takes awhile to get in, it will be worth the wait. I think you would make a great nurse.
