I have a friend. He lives about 12hrs away. But once, many, many moons ago we used to hang 24/7. He's a musician so he has that creative genius thing going on, and he actually played and sang several songs at my wedding. (Stevie Wonder, Edwin McCain, Billy Joel..... it was more of a concert than a wedding really.)
Anyway we have this sick and wrong, but exactly the same sense of humor. When we get together we laugh until we cry about the stupidest things. Seriously. And to explain it wouldn't do it justice, but if you know who I am speaking of, you get it. He's just a dork, and I love him for it.
We have this ongoing joke where either a) my child is his, or b) that he is going to be husband number 3 or 4. He's the one that told me, don't worry even if you have to get married it may take 5 or 6 times, but dog gone it by the 7th time around you'll get it right! He sent me an email today that is just to good not to share. You may not laugh as hard as I did, but none the less... enjoy.
.......I couldn't find anywhere online to apply for your "Current Husband" position. Is that available online yet? If not you should really start a website. It's the wave of the future ya know. You could use www. whowantstodostephanie. com, or www. bangadivorcee. com, or www. hotmomsneedlovetoo. com. Just some ideas. For now I will fax my application over to your offices first thing in the morning.
Seriously... that is funny stuff!!! And the sad thing is, he came up with it all in his own twisted head. **Sigh** I miss him. :)
