How does an active four year old go a week or more with a severe ear infection and it never slows him down. He's outside playing for HOURS on end, and he laughing and joking, and having a ball. But the minute he gets pink eye, he's sidelined. I took him to the Dr today for pink eye (conjunctivitis... thank you medical terminology) but he came home with a severe EAR infection... and conjunctivitis. I even asked him in front of the doctor "Doesn't your ear hurt buddy?" And he said "Nope... just my eye, mom." The doctor was astounded. He said with an ear infection that bad he should of been in lots of pain.
Kids... they will never cease to amaze me.
