If You Care.....

I'm still alive! Work actually hasn't been that bad this week. I'm a wee bit tired by the end of each day, but working in the surgeons office is better than Dr Crazy simply because the surgeons (all 3 of them) manage to keep on schedule (sort of) lol. Better than Dr Crazy anyway.

The girls in the office keep telling me they want me to tell HR that I want the full time job that I'm filling in for. It brings a great dilemma my way simply because I would love the security of a decent paycheck, but that would mean dropping out of school..... Yeah. I know, that wouldn't be a good idea... but a job, a real job. **sigh** Staying in school is the smart thing. Right? It's the right thing. Right?

Fine. I'll go study. I suppose if I stick it out, in two years I'll be making twice what I am now, and that will be nice. Right?

I have one more day this week, then off to Kmart on Saturday for my first day of training.

I'm a busy girl. I think I'm going to try to take my son out on a hot date this weekend. I still have these free tickets to the theater in Gaylord, and money for dinner at Pondagrossa. (It's the boys fave. Ok fine... I like the steak tips too! lol) Anyway Horton Hears A Who is playing, and I think it will be a nice get away. I'm not sure if I can squeeze it in over the crazy weekend, but hey... what's one more activity in a week of craziness. (this is where I am making the conscious choice not to tell the boy in case we can't squeeze it in! lol)

**sigh** Ok, I need to go study. I somehow managed to work 9hrs today, and clean my house, scrub the bathroom, and take 2 nursing quizzes. Quick 1M is equal to how many gtts? OK, try this, 15mL is equal to how many drams? Or ounces? lol. See what I did there? I combined studying and blogging. I'm a prodigy, a prodigy I say.

I have an Algebra test coming up on Monday, wish me luck. OH and also on Monday I get to learn about ostomy care, and catheters. I hope we get to practice inserting caths on the mannequins. I'm going to start practicing my light touch... maybe this time all the mommy and daddy parts will stay put and not fall off!
