I have a few epiphanies running around in my head I thought I'd share, but I have no time now. My spring break that I had planned on getting organized, and making all my flashcards has been yanked from me, and I am preparing to work for the next week.
It's not that I'm bummed to be working!!! I mean no way, I'm excited because this week I should make enough money to cover rent, but I'm bummed because I was looking forward to getting caught up on a few things. (I have a mid-term looming over me in that crazy foundations class that is kicking my butt) I think the problem is that I had my mind set to sleep in tomorrow, go pick the boy up from school, and have a generally relaxed, fun, catch up with the boy week. I've been feeling like a bad mom, since last week was so crazy. The point is... I'll be working all week, ungodly hours, for the crazy doctor that completely tires me out... (and does NOT speak english) but it'll be a good paycheck, and they actually called me in, and for that I'm grateful. ..... I just wish they would of waited and given me ONE day off. lol.
Actually I may get a day off yet... I'm only covering for a girl who is off for a family matter. It may only be 3 days, or it may be a week. We shall see.
In other news, I interviewed at Kmart this weekend. The interview went well, though it was kind of a joke. (Ask me about it sometime and I will fill you in) I think that I will get a cashier job there if nothing else pans out in the near future. Though I have been hitting the pavement and seeing what I can find out there, so we'll see. Until then, I'm practicing my lines on every phone call. I end each phone call with, Thank you for shopping at Kmart.
