The funny thing was, we weren't even a mile from the house, we had just about bit it on a curve and low and behold what comes bounding out of the woods but a gaggle of deer just determined to kiss our van yet again. It didn't happen though, whoohoo. This years players were... Michelle... super excited to shop as you can see.

Kerry and Jessica.... who had to have their caffeine

Me who was fearing for my life at every turn... Kid you not my mom was going down the center of the road and didn't care.....

And my mom... who really should of been driving and not posing for pictures.

They made fun of me because I took a sweatshirt but didn't wear it... no this is how I shopped all day.
Every time I'd get into a store I'd end up sweating in my sweatshirt so I said forget it, and just ran from store to store in my short sleeved number. I was sick already so why worry, right? Of course they proceeded to give me a hard time all day about my low cut shirt. I simply told them how I had planned to use said shirt to cut in line, get some poor man to hold my place in line or give me the last toy I was looking for. It's all about the procedure... you have to have a plan in place for EVERY possible twist.... I was prepared. In the end I got what was coming to me I suppose. I was standing by my moms window when a breeze came up and knocked a huge wad of snow down my shirt. It was super cold... and rather ironic.

HERE HERE!!!!! Another star added for surviing another bad roads episode with MOM and THE VAN!!!!!
seriously... that van has GOT to go!
You guys were taking your lives in your own hands Friday. Do you realize how many people crashed and went in the ditch that morning and into the afternoon?
BTW...I can't go to the Progressive Dinner...however, tell Sandra that we will have a night at the Mertes' to make up for it. Everyone brings a little food and we will eat and watch 80's movies...Pretty in Pink or Can't Buy Me Love...whatever everyone votes on.
YAY I have Pretty in Pink, Say Anything, and I have access to the Breakfast Club. Let's do it!!!! I'll make taco dip, and we'll make Sandra bring the chips!
I love 80's movies.... I need therapy! lol
