Another Day, Another New Experience....

So my BFF, Jeanne does head checks at the school, and she's done this FOREVER... well... her eldest is 14 so for 14yrs she's done head checks. Being the good mom that I am... I decided that I should probably be more involved in my sons education, I mean I help with centers every Friday, but head checks is just another way to step in and help out. (Plus I get to spy on my little twerp and see if he's behaving) I have never checked heads, seen lice, or seen a nit before so I didn't know what to do. But Jeanne assured me it wasn't hard and told me to come along with her today, and she'd teach me. I know... bonding over children's dandruff... what fun. So I went. And it was productive, and educational. We found 2 kids with lice, one with actual nits in their hair. Soooooo..... I think I can do this. I've included pictures so you can feel that you were a part of the head checking experience today as well. :) You can thank me later.....

I KNOW!!!!! DOESN'T IT JUST MAKE YOUR SKIN CRAWL????? Click on the pictures and enlarge them... it's way worse! I've been itching since I came home from this little adventure, then I saw those pictures and now it's worse. I think I'm going to treat my hair, just for kicks. EEEEEEWWWWWWW!
