Actually this past weekend wasn't that bad. My girlfriend and I went to the local Jellystone park and camped with the kids. It is an EXCELLENT place for the kids. It was Halloween weekend at the campground and the kiddo's loved it. (This is our second year) I thought I'd share some pictures since I haven't done so in a while. OH the best part of the camping experience was having a gal that was my friend in GRADE school at the site across from me. It was awesome to catch up. And although I jest about the air mattress going flat, the frigid temps, and the howling wind.... it really wasn't that bad. In fact... dare I say... it was the "Best Camping Trip EVER!!!!" :)
Here is the set up, and you know how setting up a tent goes... NOT RELAXING! Especially when the wind is blowing so hard, that it's blowing the tent DOWN before you can get the dang thing UP! lol.

This picture is for Rhett and Krista... Rhett, Krista, remember this grill? It's still going strong 12 YEARS later! And it's the only grill I have. Yet it works... each and every camping trip. It's survived 2 trips to the garbage, only to be dug out by me yelling "HEY this still works!!!!"
Just when you thought things were looking up... the car was returned in somewhat working order, you had a nice weekend at camp, filed for unemployment, filled out all the FIA paper work, registered for school, made your life plan... well... life has a way of reminding you that you're only one crisis away from those paper mache` penguins.... My car broke down YET AGAIN! Thanks to the crazy people at the camp next door for my jump. **sigh**
