Ok.... THAT was interesting. I learned to add and multiply in class last night. I mean I know I no math wiz, but geeez. Maybe I should of attempted to test out of that class. OH well, it is an ego booster seeing that I KNOW how to add and multiply, it makes me feel smart. lol. I looked through the book and toward the middle of the class we start learning the stuff I don't remember, simple algebra, etc. I think I'll keep taking it and go with it, only because it will, eventually, be a good refresher and then I can get a good grade in algebra. For now, I think I'll just rip a few strands of hair out when I attend class.
I swear it is the loooooooooongest 2 hrs of my life, and the instructor last night was HORRIBLE. I literally looked at the clock thinking, ok she's wasted a half hour and I looked and it was 5 minutes. Ugggh. Not a good sign. She won't be our regular instructor though. I mean this lady was confused reading the syllabus. She talked in circles, and had me confused over what she was saying. I really hope the regular instructor is there on Thursday or else I may go a little crazy.
Oh wait.... perhaps I am crazy already.
English won't be bad, but it's all about research papers. I hate research papers. I mean research... papers.... why? I have enough to do. It will be interesting. Although the instructor did say "Hey, you're Dennis'...." and then he stopped and I smiled and said, "Yes" and he said "How's he liking my old job?" to which I said "Loving it. Settling right in" hello.... awkward.
Overall an interesting night, and the beginning of a very, verrrrrry long semester. **sigh**
On the up side I ran into one of my girlfriends from last semester in my English class, so that was a plus. At least I have a buddy in English.

Yay for back to school! At least now I'm not the only one dealing with dumbness at school. :)
School is stupid! I'm off to try and test out of this class... wish me luck.
I don't know Kirtland's policy, but look into trying to test out of as many classes as possible. Go in and talk to an advisor. The basics are just that, so try to save some time and money if you can.
You are a smart girl...you could probably test your way into being at least an LPN...right?
I'm TOTALLY as smart as an LPN. lol.
