I got my books today. I looked through them at all the disgusting pictures, showing how to take a rectal temp (Seriously... is there a quiz on that?) the proper way to insert a vaginal suppository, and the proper way to do a bed bath. (Funny, I didn't see anyone tipping in the picture... odd) Jeanne even quizzed me on the case studies, just for kicks. She showed me a picture of the a horrible bed sore and told me -- with her stern look-- "This is what happens if you don't turn your patients over." to which I replied...
"Yeah, but no one will notice, cuz I won't turn them over. DUH!"
Yeah... I'm going to be the best nurse EVER!!!!
