I would of blogged sooner, but my cornea's have been fried by the UV rays that are normally blocked by my -now-missing-sunglasses.
ANYWAY... yes, I think I can officially say my sunglasses were stolen. I looked EVERYWHERE, emptied my bag twice, checked everywhere and they are no where to be found. I think, since they were sitting out on my desk that someone walked by and grabbed them while I was out during our break.
Oh well. Moving on..... My car is now officially running. It appears that it was, in fact, the battery that died on the poor thing. It's the original battery, and the car is an '01 so I suppose it was time. Crappy day to die on me, but better than dying while I was down state, right?
On the up side... I got the "Prize" in nursing class today!!! Here was the assignment.... Write down step by step instructions on how to do a NG Tube feeding, as though you were writing to the home health aid that would be covering the night feeding. So I started to write. Of course the first step is WASH YOUR HANDS and WEAR YOUR GLOVES. After that I went through all the steps, and then the final thing that I wrote was "If you have any questions CALL ME." Apparently I was the only person who wrote down, "Call Me." WOOOHOO. So I guess this proves... I'll make a good nurse.
Well..... I'd make a good nurse today when delegating tube feedings. I'd make a good nursing delegation, delegator. LOL
So... I guess my crappy day, ended up ok. I mean sunglasses or no, at least I got the nursing prize! :)

You may make a good nurse, but you won't have much time off if you put "call me" on your instruction. All the dirty old men will be ringing you to help with their cathaters
LOL.... So what you're telling me is... It would not be wise to put "Call Me" on anyones discharge notes?
roger that.
