Conversation Of The Millenium....

Me- ".... yeah it's called The Office. I used to tell you you'd like it, but instead of watching it you just bad mouthed it."

The Ex- "That's weird. I don't remember you saying that."

Me- "Uhhh... yeah... that doesn't surprise me."

The Ex- "Anyway what was that story that you were telling about it."

Me- "Well Michael is this guy on the show. He's the boss."

Ex- "Okay."

Me- "Anyway he's like stupid and goofy, but tries to be cool, but is really obnoxious, and doesn't get it when people are annoyed by him."

Ex- "Ok"

Me- "So it was just funny cuz all through the episode he kept saying "That's what she said." and that is like his thing. He says it all the time. And people don't think it's funny, but he laughs hysterically every time he says it."

Ex- "OOOOOOOHHHHHH" **laughing** "That's what she said" **Laughing hysterically** I used to say that all the time!!! Like someone would say 'pass me the bread' and I'd say "That's what she said."

Me- "That doesn't make sense"

Ex- "I know, that's the point. That's what she said!!!!" **Laughing hysterically again**

Me- "Huh... so you're saying you're basically Michael from The Office?"

Ex- "I guess so, yeah"

Me- "Huh.... interesting."

Tell me... was that irony, or what? LOL. I mean, seriously... it almost topped the You're-a-bad-mom-cuz-you-went-out-for-dinner conversation from the night before. (ask me about that one sometime. It was quite funny actually)

It's days like this that make me smile that smug little smile, that I know I shouldn't be smiling... but I totally am!!!
