Is it wrong that I hid from the Girl Scouts today? I was sitting here chatting with Jeanne and we saw the kids working the neighborhood going door to door. Well when they got about 2 houses down we shut off all the lights and hid in the back bedroom. We're whispering, and giggling, and I'm horrible at this because I'M A SUCKER! So were standing there, and I hear them talking and I look at Jeanne and I say... "I can't do it!!! I have to go answer the door!"
to which she sternly whispers back... "Be strong, stay here! You don't have the MONEY!!"
"I know, but I can't just leave them there!!!"
She's pulling on my arm, I'm not being to loud, but pulling away trying to get to the living room to answer the door. It was crazy. It was like a scene from a war movie or something. She's telling me "STAND DOWN SOLDIER!!!!" and I'm all "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!" crazy. Crazy I say.
Anyway the Girl Scouts ran away, and I didn't spend a dime! So that was excellent... (Cuz I don't have an extra dime to spend)
The only bad part was.... my car was parked in the driveway, and I had to leave about 3 minutes after girl scouts left. Sooooooo I drove the LONG way around the block to avoid them. lol.
